Surfing and Surfboards is why we have our shop. So Aqua focuses on American, Hawaiian, and Australian made surfboards. At Aqua we are inspired by good relationships and communication with our shapers. These character's histories, experience, and craftsmanship are what fuel our work ethic and at the end of the day get us excited to go surfing.

By far the most boards we move are his famous "Fletcher Four-Fins', but do not miss out on his other shapes, such as "The What?!", "S2B" and others! Visit his site to learn more about William "Stretch" Riedel and his boards.

Vernor hand shapes all his boards right down the road from us in Santa Cruz, and is always friendly and available to help with any of your surfboard related questions. Contact him at contact@vernorsurfboards.com

Another of today's most in-demand short board shapers- JS is a brilliant surfer/shaper with a power house team backing his designs comprised of Parko, Bruce Irons (Andy too), Occy and Luke. To see his current line, click on the link above.

SF: www.sfsurf.com
My friend John Schultze of SF Surfboards knows how to make you the right board for SF's Ocean Beach. Only problem is tracking the busy guy down. Don't worry about that though that's my problem!
"Made in SF by un-oppressed labor
(We blow off to surf)
Honesty and Truth in every board
Plus LOVE & TOLERANCE
To bring you new to new places that MOTHER NATURE never allowed."
John you @*&#%^$ Hippy. John makes wonderful surfboards that make people happy. Every San Franciscan surfer should have one of John's shapes in their quiver.

HOBIE: www.hobie.com
Boards so beautiful, you want to hang them in the living room, but they stay waxed up in the garage because they ride so well! Lead by shaping legends such as Terry Martin and Midget Smith, Hobie consistently sends us the most beautiful, fine-crafted, rippable surfboards ever. Come visit us at the shop for recommendations, but until then have a peek at their website.

JED NOLL: www.jednollsurfboards.com
Jed carries on the legendary craftsmanship taught to him by his renowned father, Greg, and under Bob Pearson's watchful eye. Jed is remarkable personality who happens to rip and shape some of the highest quality performance long boards, eggs, and fishes around

SWIFT: www.theswiftmovement.com
Our friends Richard Kenvin and Andrew Kidman, based in Southern California and New South Wales, continue to define "individuality" in our sport and offer a line of art, correction, a line of beautifully made/functional surfboards from a roster of shaping legends. Check out the line in their PDF catalog- www.theswiftmovement.com/Catalogs/Swift_Catalog_2006.pdf

Customs are available from all the above shapers. Now we also offer custom surfboards made for you by-

GARY LINDEN: www.lindensurfboards.com
One of the nicest guys who has seen it all in the surfboard industry, Gary is still charging and still shaping high quality performance surf boards. He has a wide line of fish, short boards, and long boards. SO visit his site to find what suits you, and we will get your order placed. Currently we are riding his parabolic short boards, which give you extra projection/push out of your turns.

TIM BESSEL: www.besselsurf.com
"Inspired by Bert Burger's Firewire line and a Ron Church photo of Corky Carol holding his parabolic in 1963, I decided to combine yesterday's technology with today's. And now it has come together as the best board I have ever made." That's Tim talking about his REFLEX model- which has a parabolic stringer (two stringers are located along the boards rails instead of running through the center of the blank), which provides directional spring for more responsive turns. Tim also makes a VAST line of different shapes. Check his site for info.

Also we stock and order composite boards from:

SURFTECH: www.surftech.com
Founder Randy French has worked hard and brought a lot of experience into making performance surfboards lighter and stronger using different materials that were once only familiar in the windsurfing industry. Randy now produces surfboards designed by himself and most of the world's top shapers under the Surftech label. Surftech offers a zillion models, so come in and we'll go through the catalog, and find you the right one for you.

BOARDWORKS: www.boardworkssurf.com
Quality composite surfboards with a more underground flavor designed by Mike Hynson, Bill Stewart, Big Ben Aipa and many others. My current favorite is the Hynson Black Night Quad.

Wetsuits From
Matuse: www.matuse.com
Matuse uses Geoprene to make their suits so warm yet flexible. Geoprene is exclusive to Matuse and is made by the Yamamoto Corporation in Japan. It is derived from 99.7% pure limestone so it is not petroleum based neoprene. It has a denser cell structure than most neoprene which keeps cold water out.

XCEL: www.xcelwetsuits.com
Suits that are consistently built well, warm and flexible. Xcel has won wetsuit of the year, two years in a row. More importantly for us in SF, Xcel has continually kept us warm in Northern California's frigid waters. Favorites our the 4/3 Infinity and 4/3 Drylock.
