Taylor Steel's next movie is complete- INNERSECTIONS!!! Aqua and Wavefest will be doing the premiere Friday Nov 26th. (All 30 premieres across the US will be on the same night with this one!)
For Innersections, Taylor created at platform where individual surfers worked with their own filmer/editor to create their own 2-3 minute segment.
Each segment was then entered in a contest where regular viewers judged each section and declared the winners.
From tons of clips, 25 surfer/film makers rose to the top, and will be included in Innersections the movie.
Most of the winning Surfer/filmers went out and shot entirely new segments for the movie, so in the end Taylor and Crew have edited all these segments together into one of the most high-performance surf films ever made! From the 25 segments included in the film, you the viewer will vote which section deserves the grand prize of $100,000.

Our friend Brian is lunching a really cool website for all of us that are inspired by the OCEAN--http://www.thescuttlefish.com is not a surfing site, rather, it is more a hub for sea lore and sea lovers. To celebrate the launch of the site, Brian is having a one month pop up store inside his buddy Robert's place REVOLVER which is in the lower Haight (136 Fillmore St- between Germania and Waller). The Scuttlefish store opens officially today, and has all kinds of ocean themed art and accessories and will be open through Nov 27th. Check out more here http://thescuttlefish.com/revolver.
